Neptune Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Neptune Budget ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and be capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Bank-data access

The Service uses Plaid to read transactions and balances from financial institutions you connect. We do not store your bank credentials; Plaid handles authentication directly with your bank.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or scrape the Service, (b) attempt to access another user's data, (c) use the Service for unlawful purposes, or (d) interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." Neptune Budget is not a financial advisor, and information shown in the app is for informational purposes only. Verify all transactions and balances with your financial institution.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neptune Budget shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from neptunebudget.com/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
